the Australian Broking Awards 2014 Welcome to the fourth annual Australian Broking Awards 2014. The awards are a proud initiative of The Adviser magazine and recognise Australia’s premier brokers, brokerages and aggregators. The preeminent awards for Australia’s third-party channel, the awards are deserved recognition for an industry that continues to evolve, mature and prove itself a true force in the Australian financial sector. Importantly, the Australian Broking Awards aren’t merely an acknowledgment of book size or staff numbers; rather, they recognise the brokers and their networks that pioneer innovation, understand the value of

customer service, and embrace new thinking and technologies, while never forgetting that success and hard work are for the most part inseparable. Once again this year’s awards were by submission. A record number of brokers, brokerages and aggregators from across Australia entered for 2014 and the sheer quality of the nominations are testament to the successful businesses of all of today’s finalists. The Adviser congratulates all the finalists in this year’s Australian Broking Awards and no more so than today’s winners who can rightly lay claim to be the industry’s benchmark.

event prizes The 2014 Broker of the Year will take home $10,000 from principal event partner Commonwealth Bank. Australia’s smartest broker and winner of this year’s BrokerIQ will receive $5,000 from entertainment partner St.George.
