2022 OUTCOMES

It’s our goal to make the pursuit of knowledge available to as many minds as possible.

Dinosaurs For All At I Dig

Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum opened their newest exhibit last year. I Dig Dinos is a new paleontology exhibit where kids get to dig for fossils, take them to the lab and identify their find under a microscope, interact with real fossils found in Utah, and learn about kids who have actually discovered dinosaurs. Mark Miller Subaru attended the special opening event to interact with guests and hand out dino eggs for all kids to take home and excavate their very own dinosaur toy. Subaru Loves Learning, and everyone loves dinosaurs!

SUPPORTING TEACHERS THROUGH ADOPT-A-CLASS.ORG PARTNERSHIP

Most teachers spend on average $750 out of their own pocket every year on supplies for students who cannot afford them. That’s why last year Subaru of America, Inc. partnered with Adopt-A-Classroom. org as the national Subaru Loves Learning partner. Adopt-A-Classroom.org is a nonprofit that helps teachers get the school supplies they need for their students, so students can focus on what matter most— learning. In the second year of partnership, Subaru and participating retailers across the nation supported 114,000 students. Locally, Mark Miller Subaru adopted 6 classrooms each at Farnsworth Elementary and Kearns Jr. High to help STEM teachers by donating $6,000 to help them purchase classroom supplies for their classrooms. You can help and adopt a teacher at adoptaclassroom.org.

NEW MARK MILLER SUBARU EXHIBIT COMING TO DISCOVERY GATEWAY CHILDREN’S MUSEUM IN 2024

After five years of our Mark Miller Subaru Express Service Exhibit inside Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum, we are excited to announce we will be redesigning and launching a new permanent exhibit inside the Museum in 2024. This new exhibit will be designed and built in-house by the Museum’s exhibit staff. Stay tuned for more information and our launch party next year. In the meantime, make sure to visit our Express Service Exhibit while it’s still open, where young children learn about the science that drives vehicles like the Subaru Ascent. Visit discoverygateway.org to learn more and see Museum hours of operation.
