Northern College offers over 75 full and part-time postsecondary programs in Schools of Business and Office Administration, Community Services, Engineering Technology and Trades, Health Sciences and Emergency Services, Veterinary Sciences and Welding Engineering Technology. Northern has campuses in Haileybury, Kirkland Lake, Moosonee and Timmins. Northern College is home to the world-renowned Haileybury School of Mines, an institution that has set the standard for mining education in Canada and throughout the world. With over 100 years of experience backing it, the Haileybury School of Mines Mining Engineering Technician program has continuously evolved to meet industry need. Demand for this program has proven so high that it is now also delivered at partner colleges in Ontario and Saskatchewan. Northern College’s Apprenticeship, Community and Corporate Training Centre (ACCT) offers customized, accessible training solutions designed to meet the needs of business and industry. ACCT develops and delivers courses, programs and services with one goal in mind – achieving maximum workforce performance for clients. Northern College can help grow a client organization through workforce development, and help build capacity to meet operational objectives.

The Ontario Clean Water Agency is a Provincial Agency, which under contract operates and maintains municipal and First Nations, water and waste water services. In addition the agency through its industrial contracts operates and maintains water and wastewater services in remote camps and in the mining sector treats tailings effluent.
