Relief For Allergies Naturally
Dust Mites Many of the allergens that affect people in the spring originate at home. Dust mites in particular are one of the most common triggers for allergic rhinitis and asthma. They multiply quickly in spring time. These little bugs are only 1/3 mm long, but can cause some serious skin rashes and breathing difficulties. They feed off your dead skin cells — dust. If you consider that every day you shed 1.5 grams of skin every day, this is enough to feed a million hungry dust mites. The only way to get rid of these little critters is to clean. The most common places that they accumulate are in carpets, bedding and furniture. They burrow themselves deep into the cloth fabric and can only be removed by cleaning and washing. Spring Pollen Pollen that is produced by trees, grasses and plants in spring can cause big problems for those living with allergies. The pollen is released into the air to help fertilize other plants in the area. When it gets into the nose, the immune system goes into overdrive and sees this as an unwanted presence. Natural Remedies You can get antihistamines and other allergy medication from your pharmacist, however, there are natural ways to help with this too. 1/2 cup creamy natural peanut butter
Cut each banana in half and carefully insert wooden ice pop stick in bottom of each, about one-third into banana. Place bananas on large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze bananas until partially frozen, about 30 minutes. Carefully dip each banana in tall pint glass of vanilla yogurt to coat, leaving 1/2-inch at bottom of banana uncoated. Return yogurt-coated bananas to parchment paper-lined baking sheet and freeze until completely firm, about 1 hour. Microwave peanut butter until smooth and creamy, about 30-45 seconds. Drizzle peanut butter evenly over bananas then place on baking sheet to freeze until peanut butter is firm, about 30 minutes.
