Steps To Home Ownership Step one: We will supply you with names and contact information for a variety of local loan officers that we successfully deal with, and will encourage you to speak with them within the first week of our meeting. This is a critical part of putting YOU in the strongest possible negotiating position when you are ready to make an offer.

Step 2: Based on your wants and needs, we will arrange to show you properties available through our multiple listing service. We will network with fellow realtors to discover potential properties before they hit the market..
Please know that we may or may not find the “right� home for you on our first trip out... but we will be diligent in our continued search.
Step 3: When we find the right home, we will strategize with you to prepare an offer based on current market data. It's our goal to negotiate on your behalf to get the best possible price and terms. NCHomesByLarryT is skilled in the art of negotiation.

Step 4: During “due diligence�, we will make available to you all of our resources, including: Attorneys, Inspectors, Contractors, Appraisers, Lenders, etc. Our focus is on ensuring you get all of the information necessary while making the process as stress free as possible.
We will attend all home inspections and monitor any negotiated repairs for completion. If you are buying new construction, we will attend builder meetings you will have during the building process.
With excitement we will watch you receive the keys to your new home. After closing, we are available to help you transition to your new neighborhood.

My husband and I were (WERE!) first time home buyers who are not from the RTP area. We don't have family nearby, so we were basically on our own and that can be intimidating. We called about 10 realtors before getting in touch with Larry. He's was the only one we even considered meeting with. I don't care how knowledgeable, or tech savvy an agent is. The only quality that will guarantee that you will find your dream house with your agents help is their ability to LISTEN. That's the first big step in finding a house right? Finding it... Larry listens and tailors the home search on what YOU want. He combines your criteria with his knowledge of the area to help you find that house. Now that you have found an agent that actually listens, it's important for you to know that Larry is also an excellent communicator. He is responsive to emails, explains real estate on normal human terms and he includes you on all communication - you're never left in the dark. Having an effective communicator in your corner makes the process a lot less stressful. When it came time to put an offer on our house, Larry was right there with comps and spreadsheets and worked with us to put in a fair offer based on numbers. Larry is a numbers guy that justifies everything with those numbers. You will go into your offer feeling confident. Larry helped me purchase a house in the Durham area. He's great to work with. He did a good job of communicating with me, and the places he had me consider matched well. He's not one of those realtors who just points out positive features -- he is knowledgeable about construction, and if he sees something wrong, he'll point it out, and that let us quickly reject the poorer houses and spend more time on the good ones. When I had settled on a house, Larry did a very efficient job at lining up the various mortgage brokers, home inspectors, and attorneys, although my house had some extra complexities involved (well & septic, and fire places). We almost ended up closing early thanks to Larry. He was also good at helping me negotiate a price for the home that I was delighted with. Overall, two thumbs up. The best realtor I've worked with.
