Major Project

‘Mow’ is a compact and efficient lawnmower for small urban gardens, which requires little storage space. Achieved through an efficient use of parts and innovative space saving design, enabling users to enjoy their garden.

Dissertation

An investigation to identify the most effective ecodesign tools for use by undergraduate design student, in order to improve the sustainability of design work.

A new attachment to manual wheelchairs, allowing parents with disabilities the freedom and independence to carry their child around with them safely.

An investigation into ICT advancements and toy design, considering their effects on the development of young children and the impact on society in the future.

2013 - Dyson Foundation Award Bursary 2013 - Loughborough University Employability Award 2011 - Design School Outstanding Student Award 1 Mow – Major Project ‘Mow’ folds down for compact storage and easy transportation, and can be stored in innovative ways such as hanging on a wall. 2 Eat. – Hot food for outdoor workers ‘Eat’ heats pre-cooked food for people working outdoors with no access to cooking facilities, providing hot and nutritious food to be enjoyed by users anywhere. 3 Mow – Major Project ‘Mow’ is a compactable lawn mower for small urban garden owners that want to enjoy their garden but do not have the storage space for a conventional lawnmower.

1 Final Year Major Project A clamping and lever mechanism is used to lift the wheelchair castor wheels, providing easy mobility for the user with adjustable positioning of the child seat for easy reach to your child. 2 Final Year Design Week Project New proposed product range to encourage working people to eat healthy homemade food on the go, without the need for other facilities that would restrict choices.
