The Hymers Journey

There are four stages to the Hymers journey. Young children are welcomed into the Hymers family from their 3rd birthday at our Pre-School based at Hymers Hessle Mount where they continue through to the completion of Year 2. With no need for an entrance assessment, pupils move to Hymers Junior School for Year 3 to Year 6 and then again, with no entrance assessment onto Hymers Senior School for Year 7 – 11.

The final stage of the Hymers journey is our Sixth Form for Years 12 – 13 before our pupils head off on their next step either into the world of work, university, apprenticeships, travel and adventure. Of course, while many children do join us early, we do accept pupils into the Hymers family through all year groups, the most common being joining Hessle Mount and then at Year 3, Year 7 and Sixth Form.
