Great partnerships deliver great results. Just as a great horse and rider combination lead to great performances, the partnership between the Maritime Barrel Racing Association (MBRA) and Ram Trucks has proven to be a real winner.
Since their humble start in 1985, they have grown from 12 to more than 120 members. The MBRA provides speed events where youth, beginner and novice riders can compete alongside world champions. If you love speed, excitement and horses, we welcome you to get involved in the MBRA.
Barrel racing is a timed rodeo event, where the fastest time is what matters most. Cowgirls and cow- boys compete in the arena against each other and the clock. You’ll see Eastern Canada’s top barrel racing horses and riders compete for the title of the 2023 Ram Rodeo Barrel Racing Champion. Follow your favourite Ram Rodeo horse and rider throughout the season on Twitter, on the MBRA Facebook page and on the MBRA website at www.maritimebarrelracing.com.

South Shore Exhibition Welcomes Lunenburg County
4-H MEMBERS TO THE BIG EX
The Lunenburg County 4-H counsel has been involved in the South Shore Exhibition for a long time. 4-H is a large part of the week at the exhibition and we would like to welcome all members back, along with new members who are just getting started.
Celebrating its 101st year, 4-H Canada has been one of the most highly respected youth organizations in the country. It is an organization of close to 25,000 youth members ages six to 25 with more than 7,700 volunteers across the country. 4-H is a not-for-profit organization that is focused on building strong leadership skills and youth development experiences in Canada.
Take part in the many projects the Lunenburg County 4-H Club has to offer such as light horse, dog obedience, beef, goat, dairy, sewing, handcrafts, baking, woodworking and more.
If you would like to learn more or become involved in the 4-H program, talk to one of the many leaders or members that you can find hanging out in the 4-H barn.
