Marisa Farronato
Marisa Farronato is a senior Communication Studies major at Wilkes University with a concentration in public relations and organizational communication. In May 2015, Marisa will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Marisa is an Executive Board of Zebra Communications, Wilkes University’s student run public relations agency, where she serves as Operations Manager. In fall of 2015 she worked with the WilkesBarre Salvation Army account team, where they raised $2,492. Marisa is a Deans List student, and is the Vice President of Wilkes University’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) Chapter. This past summer Marisa interned at Wealth Professionals Inc. where she managed the company’s social media, and learned office management skills. She now has a part-time secretarial position at Wealth Professionals Inc. Marisa became a calling associate for Wilkes University’s phonathon in fall of 2014, where she is also currently employed. Marisa is the daughter of Michael and Angela Farronato of Kulpmont, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Mount Carmel Area High School in 2010. Zebra Communications gives her a great opportunity to gain hands on experience while being a student. In the near future, Marisa plans on moving to New York to start her career in the Public Relations Field.
