TECHNOLOGY THAT INSPIRES CONFIDENCE As you sit at the helm - letting the power steering do the work for you, of course - and gaze out through that vast curved glass windscreen, family and friends gathered around, there is no doubt youâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;ll experience a profound sense of satisfaction. And not least because you know the design and structure of your Riviera is world class. The 58 Enclosed Flybridge was designed entirely using the latest Computer Aided Design software. This approach to design results not only in more precision in the design itself but, because the software also guides the robotic plug cutting router, it produces a mould - and ultimately a hull, deck and flybridge - that are absolutely faithful to the original design. Thorough tank testing and on-water trials have clearly demonstrated the superior performance provided by this technology. Naturally, many other things contribute to the agility and stability of the 58. Renowned international naval architect Frank Mulder is responsible for the running surface including propeller tunnels that provide more forward thrust, better fuel efficiency and a steadier ride. The 58 also features a new generation of underwater exhausts that are clean and quiet. Larger shafts, precision engineered Veem propellers and a particularly robust build all contribute to a refreshingly smooth ride. New technology is evident everywhere. For instance, smaller fiberglass components such as hatches and the swim platform are now made with a new closed mold injection process to create a stronger component with a better finish. The build integrity also includes our tried and tested hand-laid fibreglass hull with bulkheads throughout the hull, a fiberglass engine room liner, extra transverse stiffeners, the added stability of a midmounted fuel tank and a collision bulkhead in the bow. As a serious long-range cruiser or a bluewater sportfishing platform, it is reassuring to know you have a boat designed to weather the storm and one that can handle significant speeds: with engine options you can set your own level of performance.

FEELING GOOD INSIDE AND OUT One of the most notable features of the interior is an internal stairway between the saloon and the flybridge. This design feature enhances socialising because of the access between the two areas and, in less favourable weather, the internal access will be most welcome. The internal, electric opening door that divides the saloon and flybridge provides additional onboard security. The flybridge itself is the epitome of Riviera quality with its large lounge, extension table, teak floor and optional sunroof. You’ll also find a wet bar and fridge, glass racks, plenty of storage and other convenient features. And the helm is nothing short of sensational with adjustable, leather Pompanette helm-chairs and an ultra-modern console. Sit back and enjoy – the vision and sense of control is magnificent. Equally inspiring is the cockpit. Not only is it generously proportioned, it has been designed to enhance the 58’s fishing capabilities while providing greater comfort for superior entertaining. BELOW DECKS, ABOVE EXPECTATIONS The light, bright feel of the saloon and the use of contemporary materials flows below decks into the staterooms and guest cabin. Fixed port lights in the hull contribute to the light and airy feeling in the accommodation space. Step into the owners’ stateroom and you’ll find a walk-around bed with a queen size innerspring mattress. There is also plentiful cupboard and storage space (as befitting a long-range cruiser) and subtle touches like the cedar lining to the hanging lockers add to the sense of luxury and good taste. For your entertainment there is a flat screen television and DVD player. The en-suite and second bathrooms are very contemporary in their design. The above bench sinks and solid surface bench-tops are contemporary, stylish and easy to clean. Fittings such as mixer taps and chrome showerheads are all from leading brands and, as in the galley, the flooring is extremely practical yet stylist Amtico. The second stateroom also features a queen size bed and many of the luxury appointments of the owners’ suite including an LCD television and DVD player. Even the guest cabin, with its two-bunk configuration, offers a high level of comfort and considerable cupboard and drawer space. To cater for extended voyages there is a concealed laundry with a leading brand washer-dryer in a cupboard off the companionway. It is in the companionway and throughout the 58 you will see the finest timberwork we have ever crafted. The finish is particularly noteworthy and it is the result of our new robotic varnishing facility, the most advanced in Australia. The surfaces are mirror-like. Die umschlossene Flybridge-Yacht 58 wurde ganz mithilfe modernster CAD- und Produktions-Software hergestellt. Bei dieser Methode werden mit der Robotikstecker- Schneidefräse eine Form – und schließlich Schiffsrumpf, Deck und Flybridge – gefertigt, die exakt dem ursprünglichen Entwurf entsprechen. Umfassende Tests im Wassertank und auf offenem Wasser haben die überragende Leistung, die diese Technologie ermöglicht, unter Beweis gestellt. Viele weitere Elemente tragen zu Wendigkeit und Stabilität der 58 bei. Zum Beispiel zeichnet der international bekannte Schiffsbauingenieur Frank Mulder verantwortlich für die Lauffläche einschließlich der Propellertunnel, die für größere Schubkraft, niedrigeren Treibstoffverbrauch und eine ruhigere Fahrt sorgen.
