Additional information

Cabañal is nowadays considered a deteriorated area in Valencia. Traditionally out of the old city, is part of the “Poblats Marítims”. It means that its urban shape is characteristic from towns: narrow houses and low high. Because of the 60’s high buildings the area has lost part of its identity, so the project’s idea is to recover that identity.

This exercise is about buildings under public protection, so every space is reduced to minimals to make it cheaper and functional. At the same time both buildings include different apartments to satisfy the different buyer’s needs.

Looking for a system

course prof. Arch.

Ciudad del Artista Fallero, Valencia Final Project (2014/2015) Ignacio MarĂ Beneit Miguel Campos Gonzalez Jose Maria Lozano Velasco

Find a language that embraces the whole. New elements contaminate the old ones.

As a result we have a flexible and adaptable system to arquitecturaland natural elements. Also able to grow in the future.
