Maiden's Tower .According to the most popular Turkish legend, an emperor had a much beloved daughter and one day, an oracle prophesied that she would be killed by a venomous snake on her 18th birthday.In order to protect her,the emperor placed her away from land so as to keep her away from any snakes. He had the tower built in the middle of the Bosporus to protect his daughter until her 18th birthday.

This little garden is just a part of the magnificent dolma bachche palace


Dolmabahçe is the largest palace in Turkey.It contains 285 rooms, 46 halls, 6 baths (hamam) and 68 toilets.This monument housed Sultans and their families before the Republic, and it was then used by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk during his visits to Istanbul
