Ed ’62 & Marilyn Brown married July 5, 2014. Tricia (Cox) Pecka ’93 and her husband, David, are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Bridget Anne on February 24, 2014. Tricia calls Bridget the best birthday present she could have received. Rich Bisaga ’94 and his three boys Andrew (9), Ethan (7), and Max (3) visit campus and stand in front of the wall mural representing the State Championship Football team of 1994. Jim Lanigan ’94 and his wife, Jennifer welcomed their son Erik David on January 10, 2014. He was 9 pounds 6 ounces and 20.5 inches long. He joins his proud sister Eryn. Jane (Kuraya) ’95 and Troy Gindt welcomed Evelyn Genevieve Gindt to the family on March 29, 2014. Evelyn was greeted by her big brother Henry, who is five and sister Olivia, who is two. The Gindt’s currently reside in San Diego, CA.

On May 27, 2014, Amanda and Donovan Klein ’97 welcomed their third child, Olivia Sofia-Ainsley Klein was born. She weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces and was 19 inches long. She joins her older brother, Keagan Lewis who will turn 2 on August 31st and her older sister, Abigail Jean who will turn 4 on October 5th. Christine Lemon ’98, received the Marquette University award for Cooperating Teacher of the Year. The award was presented to her by the Dean of the College of Education. Subsequent to this award, Christine has become an Adjunct Professor at Marquette teaching the course entitled, “Advanced Methods English.”

French horn player Staff Sgt. Timothy Huizenga ’03, Marian graduate and son of faculty member Maureen Huizenga, recently began his career with “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band in Washington, D.C. In recent months, Tim has performed for several high-profile events in the nation’s capital, to include the National Christmas Tree Lighting, as well as for several events at the White House with the Marine Chamber.
Nikki ’98 & Rennie Santilli are excited to announce the birth of our daughter Estella Paradiso Santilli. Estella was born May 10, 2014, weighing 7 pounds 7 ounces and 20 inches long.
Dr. Lauren M. Misch ’05 earned her Bachelors of Science in Chemistry at Indiana University in 2009 and recently completed her Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of California Santa Barbara. Her dissertation is on catalytic materials for converting underutilized resources into fuels and commodity chemicals. She has accepted a position as a senior engineer with Intel in Portland, OR.
It’s a girl! Erin (Falucskai)’02 & husband Nicholas Russell ’02 welcome Emilia Lynne Russell to the world. Emilia was born August 1, 2014, weighing 7 pounds 2 ounces and 20 inches long. Her older brothers Noah (7) and Caleb (5) could not be more excited to have a baby sister!
Nathan Hart ’11 married Lindsey Goy on June 7, 2014, at the Alumni Memorial Chapel at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Deacon Bruce Eklund officiated. Nathan Hart is studying Nuclear Engineering at UNM and is employed by Sandia National Laboratories.
