Roberta Halverson ’81 and husband Ron have three children; Ray 12, Thea 9 and Drew 4. After 18 years in management at the Banner Health System, she is now a homeschool mom.
Lynda (Vieha) Grant ’65 and husband James moved from Kenilworth in June to their summer home on Lake Huron. They are building a home on the Gulf of Mexico, off Little Gasparilla Island, and hope it will be ready by February 2006. They celebrated their 10 year anniversary, getting sea sick on their first cruise. Life is good.
Joseph Hudson ’82 and his wife Carol adopted a baby girl from China in June of 2005. Anna Leigh Hudson now occupies most of her parents' free time.
Victoria (Quigley) Forbes ’67 enjoyed seeing the Marian Catholic High School basketball team recently when the team traveled to Quincy, IL. Victoria and her two sons Tyler 18 and Zachary 13 enjoyed the game.
John Everson ’84 flew to Los Angeles for a ceremony attended by luminary writers Clive Barker Hellraiser, Chuck Palahniuk Fight Club and emceed by David Morrell Rambo: First Blood. His novel Covenant won the Horror Writers Association's Bram Stoker Award for First Novel. But the big news is that a couple weeks after the award ceremony, wife Geri (Bailey) Everson ’85 gave birth to their first child. Shaun Austin Everson was born on July 15 weighing 5 pounds, 13 ounces and measuring 19-1/2 inches. He is now a healthy, happy 7 month old baby! John is in his twelfth year as the Publications Director for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and also writes the Pop Stops music column for The Star Newspapers. Geri previously worked as a real estate corporation leasing associate, but now is a stayat-home mom.
Gordon McKerral ’70. The Society of Professional Journalists awarded Gordon "Mac" McKerral with the Wells Memorial Key, the Society's highest honor. The Wells Memorial Key was first presented in 1913. The award was named in honor of Chester Wells, Sigma Delta Chi's second national president. The organization is the nation's largest and most broad-based journalism organization. Enrico Bruno ’73 was promoted to Commander of the Tinley Park Police Department. Mary (Pignotti) Dunne ’76 of Scottsdale, AZ was selected for inclusion in the ninth edition of Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers® 2005. As the only publication dedicated exclusively to the recognition of our country's premier teachers, Who’s Who® is a valuable resource for everyone concerned with quality education.
Dave Holecek ’84 and wife Joy, welcomed a son, Thomas Augustine Holecek, to their family on January 3, 2006. Thomas joins older siblings Zachary 7, Catherine 5 and Joseph 2. Erin Jane (Harrell) Ross ’85 and husband Andrew have two sons: Sean 3 and Liam 18 months. The family resides in Lynchburg, VA. Erin Jane is a professor of Nursing at Lynchburg University.
Kevin Daney ’77 and his wife Barbara have three children, Brooke, Allison and William pictured below. They sent their wishes for a Merry Christmas and Blessed New Year to all their Marian Friends. The Daney’s reside in New Jersey and Kevin makes the daily commute to the Big Apple.

Christina Carlsson LeCocq ’86 and her husband Dan welcomed their second child Hannah Rose on November 14, 2005. Big brother Brian 3, enjoys his new little sister.
