special way to play up what sparkles within her.

BENTHOS:
The Depths of the Sea Dreams can be haunting sources of inspiration. My dreams have overwhelmed me with images of ghostly sunken ships contrasting the mysterious life at the bottom of the ocean. This collection is my way of turning these ideas that once frightened me into something beautiful. I was influenced by Art Nouveau’s ornate designs and silhouettes, an era when oceanic travel was at its prime. I chose to create my own needle felted designs in some of my garments to represent the beautiful balance of organic natural life and the ghostly abandoned remnants of ships from eras gone by. This collection is dedicated to my mom, who urged me to embrace my dreams, even literally in this collections. She always tried to help me with my work, even though she knew I was too stubborn to let her.

Carefully tailored pieces of athletic performance nylon allowing for ease in activity, while giving relatively polished look. Easily draped and loosely fit in key areas, while keeping a sleek look to the garment.

FADED BRICK
Bottoms: Coated denim that is treated with a transparent resin material that gives the underlying cotton a protective, breathable veneer with stain-resistant properties and a slight luster. The coating is permanent, able to sustain multiple launderings, and protects the color of the jeans from fading.

Monique Lhullier’s bridal collections and ready-to-wear looks are known for
their internal structure and romantic emphasis of the feminine sillhouette. She has recently expanded her brand’s interest, ranslating that command of a woman’s figure into an additional line based in lingerie. Monique’s Blush lingerie line will be premiering with the Spring/Summer 2013 collection. These lingerie pieces follow the style of her other lines, and easily build into the designs of her looks to be worn underneath her garments, or on their own occasion. While the current market for bridal lingerie is scarce, Monique sees an opportunity to infuse style into the structural and functional garments worn on the most romantic day of every woman’s life.

Monique’s lingerie pieces are ideal compliments to her existing designs. However, she does not limit the looks to wedding day/night occasions, but encourages her customers to embrace the feminine sophistication of their wedding day in their every day looks. The Blush line includes pieces such as bras, panties, slips, nighties, and corsets. Monique upholds her committment to quality fabric and construction in the Blush line as she has consistently shown through her other lines of bridal and ready-to-wear.
