Falcon Tenders specialises in building fullycustom yacht tenders, drawing on Pascoe’s 20 plus years of industry experience producing bespoke tenders for some of the most iconic superyachts ever launched. The dedicated Hampshire facilities comprise a 2,300m2 purpose-built manufacturing and offce complex, and will create new opportunities for a highlyskilled workforce of up to 25 people.

Family-style operation

Commenting on the new endeavour, Mr Pascoe, who is a renowned fgure in the performance leisure craft and offshore powerboat markets, says, “I am passionate about building tenders. I believe there is room in this exciting sector to be able to design and produce something quite special to integrate with any superyacht. I have hand-picked an impressive line-up of highly dedicated and skilled craftsmen, many of whom I have known and worked with for a number of years. I think we have a uniqueness and can offer all the benefts of dealing with a large production operation, but with the individuality, passion, and skill that can only exist in a smaller, family-style operation. This allows a higher quality of workmanship, level of customer service, and bespoke design. Our aim is to produce the fnest, best equipped, most innovative, and reliable tenders on the market.” Mr Pascoe is joined by international racing driver Dean Stoneman who will partner him in managing Falcon Tenders. Former F2 Champion and F1 test driver Mr Stoneman is no stranger to the water, having been crowned P1 Powerboat Champion in 2012. Over the past decade he has built a number of powerboats and fully understands the marine yacht tender business.

Next level

Following extensive R&D, the Falcon Tenders team is now working on its frst model, an allnew limousine tender. Mr Stoneman is excited about what’s to come, “We are really looking to take our frst tender to the next level in terms of design, materials, and propulsion. We are working with some superb partners and are confdent that what will emerge later in the year will impress the market.”

The aim is to produce a range of designs exclusive to Falcon Tenders that deliver on all fronts.

tender market, the Falcon Tenders limousine presents the perfect design for guests looking to comfortably transit from yacht to shore, particularly for 100m+ yachts that anchor further out at sea. Reclaimed teak adorns the exterior deck areas complemented by premium Scottish leather upholstery for a refned interior fnish. A matching open tender is also in the pipeline.

“Some owners want absolute luxury with Bentley-inspired interiors and others are all about speed”, says Mark Smith, Director at Michael Leach Design, best known for designing 96m M/Y Palladium, 93m M/Y Lady S, and 110m Feadship M/Y Anna – one of the largest yachts on the charter market. “But whether large or small, the parameters of boat design, which are comfort, beauty, and performance, primarily remain the same.”

Quality over quantity

Blending in-house technical expertise with creative vision, Falcon Tenders’ fully custom yacht tenders are hand-built to order in limited numbers. Speaking on the Falcon Tenders setup, Mark Pascoe comments, “We have a small, dedicated team at Falcon Tenders, rather than a large factory that is mass-producing. One of our biggest assets is the fact that we have people with real passion, all of whom have worked in the tender business for ten years or longer. We have the skillset and appetite to do something pretty special, and partnering with Michael Leach Design, Tim Heywood, Uroš ˇ Pavasovic, David Weiss, and all the other designers with collaborations in the offng is really exciting.” Falcon Tenders’ limousine model and matching open tender design will make their international debuts at the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show, which is held from 22 to 25 September 2021 at Port Hercules.
