ESTechnologies BV is established in 2009 by Cor Meedendorp and Diederick Stam, both managing partners of Floattech BV. They met almost ten years ago and worked together on luxury yachts at respected shipyards. They evaluated their knowledge of energy systems and developed the first Lithium-Polymer Marine battery with Lloyds certificate in the world. This battery for maritime purposes is specially designed for large energy storage systems in the most harsh environment. ESTechnologies is producer of Energy Storage for: − Offshore − Wind energy − Port & Shipping − cruise ships and ferries − Shipbuilding industry − container vessels − Mega yachts − Tugboats − special vessels (OSV, OCV, pipe laying vessels, submarine, rescue, etc.) To guarantee the extensive lifetime of this battery, ESTechnologies has also designed a unique Constant Active Battery Management System. This BMS system can balance energy between cells within one battery unit and even between cells of different battery units connected in one system. This unique Dutch product, has excellent performance and can safely be applied to large scalable electrical energy storage systems. The batteries contribute directly to CO² reduction and are a very important part in the new design of diesel electric propulsion and other generator applications. By temporarily storing overcapacity and to use this as a direct support in case of peak loads, a unique stable, independent and highly efficient power source can be installed in many remote locations. By using the generators only in the most efficient area, the consumption per kW and the general maintenance and mechanical wear will reduce strongly. Besides energy storage, we can also take care of conversion to any grid.
FLIR Systems markets a full range of thermal imaging cameras for maritime applications being used by owners of pleasure craft and yachts, commercial vessels, work boats, fishing boats, cruise ships and many other types of vessel. They allow users to navigate in all circumstances, even objects which cannot be detected by radar such as wooden boats, floating debris etc. become clearly visible with a thermal imaging camera. See in Total Darkness A FLIR thermal imaging camera allows the user to clearly see channel markers, shipping lane traffic, land outcrops, bridge pilings, floating debris, exposed rocks, other vessels and any other floating object. Increase Safety & Security on Board Both yachts and commercial vessels contain a lot of valuable equipment that is susceptible to theft. A thermal imaging camera will assist the user to see what is happening around their vessel. Long Range Threat of Detection A shipboard environment can be very isolated and vulnerable. By using a FLIR thermal imaging camera everything around can be clearly seen, even at long distances. Approaching vessels and activity in port or at anchor can be monitored without alerting them. Man Overboard Searches Thermal imaging cameras are widely used by coastguard and rescue workers for man overboard searches, spotting and rescuing people in the water before hypothermia sets in. Anti-Piracy A FLIR thermal imaging camera allows the user to see vessels on the horizon and allow decision making capability before it is too late.
