Marbles Fiscal Year 21/22 Impact Report

PLAY ignites joy

As we continued bouncing back from pandemic losses, Marbles was able to re-launch and expand programming designed to reach kids of all backgrounds and abilities, including

Sensory Friendly Playtime. Throughout the year, more than 1,650 kids with disabilities and their families played joyfully in a calm, quiet museum environment. Sensory Friendly Playtime is one offering within Marbles’ suite of access initiatives that served more than 45,000 individuals last year.

We appreciate Marbles offering this service. Our family looks forward to it every month. While this may not seem like much to some, it’s everything for our special, unique family.

Thank you for doing this for my son and all the other kids that get to experience a night of joy without judgment.

THANK YOU

Sensory Friendly Playtime is offered free to participants thanks to generous funding from ABS Kids, BlueSprig, HWY55 Charitable Foundation and the J.W. and M.H. Straker Charitable Foundation. In FY 21/22, Marbles’ access programming was also supported by Wake County, Allscripts, PNC, Terminix, Duke Energy and many generous individual donors.
