Marbles Fiscal Year 21/22 Impact Report

Now, more than ever, we must leverage the power of play to promote parental mental health and child development.

- UNICEF Office of Research

Dear Friends,

Fiscal Year 21/22 was full of transformation and growth at Marbles. Our visitation bounced back, we resumed in-person events, opened new exhibits and re-launched important community access initiatives. We leaned into our unique role of serving families ready to reignite their spirit of playfulness.

Marbles also experienced a leadership transition, as founding CEO Sally Edwards stepped down after 15 years of monumental impact and dedication. Sally, the Marbles Board and the incredible team guided Marbles to a position of strength and momentum, with many exciting opportunities on the horizon.

Please enjoy this Impact Report from Fiscal Year 21/22 – a year that reminded us to never underestimate the power of play. After all…

PLAY is how children learn best. PLAY fosters relationships. PLAY ignites joy.

Marbles’ accomplishments are only made possible with your support – our community of donors, partners, members, guests, volunteers, and teammates. Thank you!

Jonathan Frederick, CEOJulie Paul, Board Chair
