FOREWORD Effeciemme has been operating since 1995 in the field of components for valves. The experience gained over the years has allowed us to consolidate our presence in the market making the company a reference point in this field. Our company covers an area of over 3000 square meters of floor area and 1500 square meters of open area (2 manufacturing plants and a logistic plant). Actually we have more than 40 machineries (21 of them are CNC). Effeciemme is a recognized leader in the industry and it manufactures seals made of high quality material and with the use of CNC turning. The attention to detail and experience accumulated over many years of work allow us to produce seals both for high temperature and cryogenic valves. To ensure our customers a high quality, all valve components we produce are made in Italy, at all stages of the production process. Thanks to the use of technologically advanced machinery and ad-hoc software, we are able to produce gaskets using any type of thermoplastic material, with dimensions starting from Ă˜ 1.5 mm to Ă˜ 2750 mm. We manufacture energized seals for cryogenic service, for high temperature and high pressure (up to API 15000). Effeciemme manufactures bearings and washers self lubrificating in different materials such as carbon steel, aisi 316, inconel 625 and other materials on request. Depending on the application there are different coatings such as ptfe, Bronze+ptfe, Fabric+ptfe and two special treatments for high temperature (up to 550° c). Our flexible organizational structure allows us to manage orders with tight deadlines.


ENERGIZED SEALS DIVISION Thanks to the use of technologically advanced machinery and ad-hoc software, we are able to produce gaskets using any type of thermoplastic material, with dimensions starting from Ø 1.5 mm to Ø 2750 mm. We manufacture energized seals for cryogenic service, for high temperature and high pressure (up to API 15000).

SLIDING BEARINGS DIVISION Effeciemme manufactures bearings and washers self lubrificating in different materials such as carbon steel, aisi 316, inconel 625 and other materials on request. Depending on the application there are different coatings such as ptfe, Bronze+ptfe, Fabric+ptfe and two special treatments for high temperature (up to 600°c).

The research and development are the basis of technologies and new products that Effeciemme provide. The programs concerning already tested productions are created by Effeciemme’s engineers and they are validated for the production only after positive testing. Effeciemme use our 3D modelling and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software to optimise an existing design as part of one of our largest projects to date. Using FEA greatly reduces the trial and error method of testing new items patterns, especially critical to Effeciemme and their customers. We can provide NORSOK M-710 REV.3 and API6A approved materials.

It is possible to test the components

(HIGH TEMPERATURE CRYOGENIC AND HIGH PRESSURE TEST) simulating the operating conditions of the valve through the use of equipment projected by us. In this way, we continue our search for new materials and designs that complement our existing product range.

The constant commitment to process control and incoming raw materials is reflected in the purchase of tools for the creation of our internal laboratory. Our laboratory is equipped with high quality tools, such as dynamometer, millesimal gravity balance, durometer, digital stereo microscope. It’s possible to carry out tests of seals by simulating the operating conditions of the valve, by using equipment designed by us. In this way we continue our search for new materials and designs that can improve our existing product range.

LIP SEALS Lip seal is a gasket in thermoplastic material energized by spring that improve the sealing. Used on rotary elements (pins, stems), on floating components (seats) or between two fixed elements (body, flange).

LIP SEAL HELICOIDAL Used for static applications or, if applied at stem, for dynamic applications. Single Spring is used for standard temperature (-99°C +200°C). Double Spring is used for low temperature (<-99°C).

INTERNAL FACE LIP SEAL Used when the pressure come from the inside. Can be made with “U”Spring or Helical Spring (single or duble).

EXTERNAL FACE LIP SEAL Radial applications used when the pressure comes from both directions (back pressure) usually used for seats.


LIP SEAL U SPRING - LSU Used for dynamic applications, typically for seats. Not suggested for cryo temperature applications.

LIP SEAL WITH ABP - LST Composed by two double Springs side by side held in position by T-Retainer that could be made in AISI 316, INCONEL 625 or thermoplastic material. Used for high pressure, cryo temperature and dynamic applications.

LIP SEAL DPE Radial applications used when the pressure comes from both directions (back pressure) usually used for seats.

SEAL PACK SKU Radial applications used when the pressure comes from both directions (back pressure) usually used for seats.


STEM PACK Gasket in thermoplastic material composed by few rings having different shape called: male, female & intermediate. Working in compression, is used as a gasket seat for stem.

VEE PACK Is a combination between Stem pack and Lip Seal, positioned instead the male. Used as sealing element for stem.

FLOATING SEATS Effeciemme manufactures packs of rings with different compositions of materials (PEEK, KEL-F, PTFE, PTFE+CG, NYLON, GRAPHITE, etc.).

INSERT Elements in polymer material, inserted inside a metallic seat’s groove, that improve the sealing system between seat and ball.


BACK-UP / BEARINGS & WASHERS THERMOPLASTIC MATERIALS In our range of products we offer also back-ups, rings in thermoplastic material, designed to prevent extrusion of gaskets in sealing system (subjected to high pressure or high temperature).

SCRAPER Effeciemme produce all type of scraper in thermoplastic material by design.

DRIFT TEST / TOOLS We can produce Drift Test in thermoplastic material until length 2000mm and Ø 500mm.

OTHER THERMOPLASTIC ITEMS Effeciemme can provide other thermoplastic items following design and specifically request of our customer.
