With an acute understanding of his client’s needs, Dan wanted to not only provide quality products with exceptional customer service, but also to work with hospitality businesses to help them implement proven business strategies for growth and the overall success of their business.
Dan has been in the hospitality industry for his entire career, after finding his passion for food at a young age. While still at school Dan completed an apprenticeship in a Greek restaurant in Brisbane and since then has over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry in a diverse range of positions. Dan has been a chef, restaurant owner and now business owner servicing the greater hospitality industry across Southeast Queensland and beyond. When developing the business Dan was focused on delivering solutions to problems he had encountered during his years in the workforce and to create a support network for café and restaurant owners alike as he understands the challenges that they face every day.
Fast forward to today and Dan has a growing team of industry professionals that are like-minded and committed to superior service and going the extra mile. ABOUT THE TEAM Run by husband and wife duo, Dan and Ebony Saporita, Honcho Coffee Supplies is based on the Sunshine Coast, but services South East Queensland beyond. “We have a mission to grow through both wholesale and retail channels to energise and excite coffee lovers nationally. We offer all the equipment and coffee you’ll need to make a great coffee for your customers in your café or restaurant, in the office or in the comfort of your own home. We believe that every coffee lovers deserves a delicious brew and that life is too short for bad coffee!” Honcho Coffee Supplies offers the highest quality products and are committed to cultivating long-term relationships with our clients through the best customer service possible. “We are continually sourcing new products and coming up with the new ideas that will meet the demands of the market and if there’s something you want that we don’t already supply, we are happy to source it!”
Giselle is our Office Manager and is the glue that holds the team together managing the day to day running of the business. Giselle loves a strong mocha and is originally from Canada so she has the right to laugh at us when we complain about the cold temps on the Sunshine Coast. If you give us a call you will most likely be speaking with Giselle. 3
Costa is our delivery driver and customer service superstar. He absolutely loves the Sunshine Coast, after relocating here from Sydney several years ago. Costa used to work in bars in the Greek Islands and became known to put on a dance and throw his charm around to keep the ladies buying drinks.

Steve manages the warehouse, making sure that everything has it places, stays in it’s place and is easily accessible when needed, in fact the team are often impressed with Steve’s ‘tetris style’ skills. Steve can’t go past a long black and is always keeping active with running or doing anything sporty outside of work.

Our newest member of the team, Carrie has joined Honcho to support our customer service offering and ensure that all our clients are happy! Carrie has travelled the globe and has been a barista and managed cafes throughout her career, so she certainly brings a wealth of knowledge and hands on experience to the team.
