NEWS NEW PRIEST-IN-CHARGE AT MANNINGTREE BENEFICE We are delighted to share with you the good news that The Rev Dominic Turner has been appointed as our new Priest-inCharge for Manningtree Benefice, the Parish Churches of Mistley with Manningtree and Bradfield. Dom is currently a curate in Harlow Town Centre, St Paul with Little Parndon, St Mary Team Ministry. Dom and his family hope to move to join us in July and Bishop Roger will licence Dom on Wednesday, July 26 at 7.30pm at Mistley Parish Church. Please pray for Dom, his wife Debbie and their family as they prepare to move and join our church family.

ANIMAL AGENTS – SUMMER READING CHALLENGE 2017 July 15 to September 2 Essex Libraries Summer Reading Challenge 2017 is called Animal Agents. Children will be invited into the world of detectives, sleuths and solving puzzles. Animal Agents will inspire reading on a grand scale and place newly discovered authors under the microscope. Children will explore new titles and discover facts, characters and stories across the best contemporary children’s writing.

MISTLEY PARISH COUNCIL The full unapproved minutes of meetings are displayed at the noticeboards near to the bus stop at Rigby Avenue and also outside Mistley Post Office in the High Street. The approved minutes can be accessed online at: www.essexinfo.net/mistleypc/parish-council/meetings

Children will be encouraged to read any six books of their choice to collect stickers in their Animal Agents folder. There are other exciting rewards along the way and when they complete they will receive a medal and certificate.

In each library children will be able to hunt out the Animal Agents and join in with wild activities. Animal Agents is aimed at children aged three-12 with a special early years version for babies and toddlers.
