A Mannes-trained Techniques of Music department teaches courses very close in content to those taught in the college. Advanced diploma students are sometimes welcome in college division courses.
PERFORMANCE
ONE-ON-ONE
Private instruction in every orchestral instrument, voice, composition, conducting, fretted instruments, and historical instruments. Many of the most distinguished teachers in New York are available to Extension students.
The Mannes Community Orchestra. Opera. Chamber Music. Ensemble Piano. Special interest performance ensembles such as Early Music groups and the Flute Ensemble.
