The Hotel & Tourism Department students could perform their roles like the steppingstones between the two countries Korea and France. Before that, they must deeply understand France through learning French culture, tourism, wines, etc. The French Atelier, one of the after-school activities at Songgok, was planned to decrease the negative understanding about the tourism industry, which has been suffering a severe blow from the problematic covid-19 situation. The situation almost made the industry stop not only domestically but worldwide. And we hope to offer a possible chance for students to go into the various tourism fields.
In particular, the class has schemed as a preparatory course of mapping out the competitive career, a representative F & B in the hotel industry. Therefore, students must fully understand the wine sommelier as a vocation, which is deeply related to the French culture in the background. Students also need to catch on to the various business of the industry.

Most of all, students could learn about the various French wines by production areas through the French Atelier after-school class.
Moreover, they could comprehend the French culture by studying food and its supplemental ingredients in harmony with the wine production areas, kinds, and characteristics item by item. That may lead them to challenge the tourism industry with solid self-confidence.
