The project aimed at designing a Net-Zero school in collaboration with Orphans In Need (NGO). Mewat lacks access to education (indicated by the high drop-out rates of girls as the nearest school is at least 10km away. ) and healthcare. The school was designed to foster such community needs, conveyed through its design and material language. The school would accommodate student capacity of approximately 2000 including additional 100 faculty and admin staff.
Designing for the school was a team effort wherein my contribution (primarily) was landscape design.

Landscaping of the site was done in a holistic manner. The aim was to maintain the ecosystem of the site, by planting all local species, keeping in mind the birds, insects and animals of the site. This ensured a symbiotic relation between all inhabitants of the space.
