parting Shot GLIMPSE. This was a wild day at Mount Rainier National Park, with a blizzard clearing to sun and going back to blizzard in the span of 30 minutes. Not what I expected for an early fall trip but magical nonetheless. Embracing these unexpected conditions rather than dwelling on what I had hoped for has made me a lot happier as a photographer—an evolution that took some time and a lot of self coaching. —SARAH MARINO
