Classes run every day. The gym is set up in stations and used by multiple groups throughout the sessions. The stations are altered for different groups by the coaches. The upstairs café is used as a ‘base’ for the children. Breaks and lunches are spent up there.

Falling off equipment.

Mats by the side of vaults and top tumblers. Don’t build blocks too high. Carpet everywhere. Staff on door when entering and leaving. Door to be closed when session in play. If public are in the building then gym doors should be closed. Added Red Pipe insulation to all chains…maybe add some bright tape to make more visible. Ensure all electrical wires for clocks and speakers are hidden. Ensure all unused sockets are covered with plastic caps. Ensure all equipment is either ensure or laying flat on the floor. Notably mats and spring boards.

Clearly identified medical/first aid trained staff. Defib on site with child pads. Always ensure that one of the coaches from each group accompanies the children around the building. Do not leave children unattended. Do not leave children unsupervised. Always ensure that dangerous items like irons, projector etc are kept out of reach of children. Beware of tripping on different height matting. Also supervise children up and down the stairs. No running. No standing on chairs. Please refer to our opening and closing policy for procedures.
