FASHION As I like to be different with my style I love mixing vintage clothing with high street labels. Urban Outfitters in Liverpool One is one of my favourite shops for finding quirky and unique items. I relish rummaging through the rails in the concessions section and I found a printed retro T shirt which had been customised into a cute shorter top. I am a huge fan of customising old clothing, reinventing classic items making them more current and accessible.

To complete the look I teamed it with high waisted faded denim shorts from www.stylewardrobe.co.uk which I love being accessible with any outfit. So if you are a festival feind too be creative with your clothing and mix it up with vintage.

Summer is here and when looking through recent magazines ‘festival fashion’ seems to be a recurring theme with summer trends. Being a festival fiend, this month I went to Cocoon in the park in Leeds. For my outfit this year I raided the high street and came across a quaint vintage shop called Lily Vintage in Chester’s city centrewww.lilyvintage.co.uk. The army jacket in the window was a must have and I thought it would be perfect for the festival with its retro and grunge feel. The shop floor has a mega collection of handmade, retro and vintage pieces and being a shopaholic I was in heaven. It was an awesome find.
