Festivities of ‘Beata InĂ©s’: the intangible heritage that BenigĂ nim offers to the world In order to understand the history of BenigĂ nim, we must speak of Beata InĂ©s, who has marked the customs of this municipality that saw it born. BenigĂ nim revolves around the figure of this religious Agustina, who was the first woman of the Valencian Community to be beatified by Pope Leo XIII in 1888. The moment when BenigĂ nim began to celebrate this event with celebrations that year after year attract thousands of devotees from different parts of the geography, who seek in the municipality the miracles of the Beata.
