Rohana Ulluwishewa says his manuscript Spirituality Demystified helps readers to understand spirituality in rational terms. "It is important for people to understand the importance of spirituality," Rohana said. Rohana said the manuscript was written to explain spirituality in scientific terms. "Many people in society seekscientific evidence on everything, this book can answer those questions." A retired professor and academic writer, Rohana has pulled evidence from quantum physics, euro science, transpersonal psychology, scientific studies on consciousness and near death experiences. His work is one of five finalists in the $10,000 Ashton Wylie Charitable Trust Unpublished Manuscript awards. Rohana said Palmerston North was a good place to live as it has helped him with his writing on spirituality. He plans to continue to write about the topic. "It is a small, quiet and beautiful place to live as it offers great external peace." Rohana plans to look for
