Director since 2021 RNicole Byrnes farms with her husband in the Pooncarie district in Western NSW on wheat and ON HARDS sheep sta�ons, over two proper�es totalling 12,000 acres situated on the Darling River and Great Treasurer, Victorian Farmer Anabranch. THERESE MCBEATH

Therese is a specialist director with experience in agricultural systems research. She is a Research Team Leader in Agriculture and Food Systems with CSIRO at the Waite Campus in South Australia.
Therese has a Bachelor of Agricultural Science and PhD in Soil Science, both from the University of Adelaide. Prior to her PhD Therese worked as a consul�ng agronomist in Vi�culture with Landmark and as a Research Technician. Since her PhD she worked at the University of Adelaide as a Research Fellow inves�ga�ng soil constraints and fer�liser chemistry op�ons. Therese has worked for CSIRO for the last 10 years on a range of na�onal and regional projects that explore op�ons to improve the produc�vity of crops grown on many of our more challenging soil types (sandy, calcareous, constrained at depth). Therese has interna�onal collabora�ons that focus on improving the efficacy of fer�lisers. Therese is a member of the MSF Research Development and Extension subcommi�ee.
