A few words about my work RELATIONSHIP BE T WEEN PAINTING AND OTHER MEDIA The aim of my projects is to reflect the aspects of contemporary painting and its relations between visual arts, as well as various existing interdisciplinary links and the resulting aesthetic qualities. I would like to evaluate the historical and contemporary strategies in this area and highlight its wider impact for a socio-cultural area. My intention is also to scan deeply the problems of postmodern artistic strategies such as the appropriation, deconstruction or juxtaposition in the context of contemporary mixmedia painting. As I am interested in a narration within the image of nowadays and the loss of the authorship declared by Roland Barthes I would like to work creatively in terms of post-modern search. I believe that painting is still a multilayer media of today, and its principles should be considered in the broader socio-cultural environment. In the practical part of my projects I deal with the concept of my art works which are influenced by the artistic strategies of contemporary painting while touching the field of an installation and digital interactivity. It counts with the basic typologies as – site specific object, video object, video installation or digital and algorithmic art. I would like to form my personal expression within the processual
painting, using the elements of an action and work with the idea of dematerialisation. Also there is a big challenge of using the specific new materials which can be implemented in the creative multilayered process. The whole project is mainly focused on exploring the aesthetic relations between the painting and other media. The contents of teoretical part of me art work is , media of painting and its influence on the visual art of the contemporary art language, then historical connotations of visual art of contemporary art and the postulate of truth and impact of photos on painting media. Also the authenticity of visuality of contemporary art, then autenticity of artistic expression and post-production strategies in contemporary world painting, Painting in post-production post-mediation period, Exit from Image space or dive into image area media, I also have to add an interesting Slovak context, especially the zero-years of painting Mgr.art. DIGITAL MEMORIES In the series of pictures, under the name Digital memories, I work with the visuals of the digital environment of Photoshop, in the same time found archive document. Airbrush technology simulates the virtual environment with shadows and surfaces. The grey acrylic colour is in contrast to natural paper and coffee. I create an archive that indicates both abstract situations and virtual environments. Using the icons and features of the Photoshop, I’m trying to simulate virtuality in painting medium in process, and I’m looking for an analogue bridge of reduced memory.

In paintings from the installation Visual borders, I work with aesthetics of state flags where I temporize and stylize the characteristics features of states and play with the idea of optical deceit from the reference to shifting borders of the state, the context of globalization and cultural nationalism. Inspired by the aesthetics of Daniel Buren, I create a site-specific that points in certain places to the virtual environment of the digital environment, the instability or temporality of the visual boundaries when changing the viewing angle. And, on the other hand, this reality is being materialized.
