A New Year’s Dip on Beach 146th Another big New Year’s Day dip takes place on Beach 146th and many rang in 2020 with the traditional water cleanse. Tom Farley was there to catch all the action on camera. We hear some other big dips around town took place on Beach 127th and those from Crom Physical Fitness have organized one that continues to grow each year on Beach 92nd Street. No matter where they decided to jump in, one thing is for sure—Rockaway people sure are brave! Photos by Tom Farley.
