MONDAY, MAY 28 Out-of-staters wreaking havoc Thanks to the My Police Department app, citizens are able to communicate to police about any lawbreakers or scofflaws creating problems, such as the owner of a vehicle that reportedly has been parking in a handicapped spot on Tracey Street. The vehicle, which sports New Hampshire plates, parks in the HP spot despite not having any identification and has also been playing loud music at all hours of the day and night, according to a concerned emailer. According to the report, a citation was left on the vehicle as the officer was unable to locate its owner.

TUESDAY, MAY 29 My, how things have changed Instead of texting two juveniles found themselves in handcuffs for fighting. A 13- and a 12-year-old were taken into custody for fisticuffs at James Street Park at approximately 3:00 p.m. The officer reported both parties were advised to stay off their cellphones for the night.

THURSDAY, MAY 31 Ahh, memories … A Hancock Street resident called police for help getting her kid to school. According to the report, the daughter wouldn’t listen to her mom and refused to go to school. The officer and mom found out the youngster forgot to do her project that was due that day, but she ended up going anyway.

The officer contacted the company and brought it to the station to be picked up.
