The Optimist Class is the biggest sailing class in the world and has 5 Continental Events each year. This November the Bahamas hosted the IODA Northamericans in Montagu Bay, and we had 5 sailors from Eleuthera Participating! "Northamericans was so fun because you meet so many people from all around the world and the level is so high! It was amazing to share this Regatta with such a big TEAM specially to be with my friends from Eleuthera " Finley McKinney-Lambert

Apart from being it an amazing Experience for our sailors, this was a huge Opportunity for the whole Bahamas to compete at home waters and show all the progress they have made in the past years. The BAH team consisted of 19 sailors from New Providence, Exuma and Eleuthera, and they did a great job in representing their country both on and off the water.
