Restaurant Interiors

LOCATION

Bangalore, Karnataka

The restaurant is designed to imitate a rural Indian setting. The main materials used for the whole project are aerocon blocks, clay tiles and coloured oxide finish. Unique seating (hubs) were designed specifically for this project.

CEILING DETAIL

The ceiling is covered with a parametric jaali tile form. each tile is placed in a different direction rotated clockwise to allow a variety of shadows to form onto the ceiling.

WALL PANEL DETAIL

The wall panels are covered with hand woven jute rope onto a metal frame.

The patterns cast by natural light through the jute ropes onto the restaurant walls are unique.
