Monkey World Summer Challenge Monkey World – Ape Rescue Centre in Dorset is home to over 260 primates, including over 50 chimpanzees, and Europe’s official crèche for orphaned orangutan infants. Many of the park’s residents had been neglected, kept in unnatural conditions, or experienced unbelievable cruelty. At Monkey World, they can now all enjoy the company of their own kind in a safe and natural environment. Combining fun with

conservation and animal education, self-guided audio tours explain all about man’s closest living relative. Visitors can see the stars of TV’s ‘Monkey Life’, then ‘monkey around’ in the south’s largest Great Ape Play Area for children. Kids can also learn through play throughout the holidays by joining the Monkey World Summer Challenge. For just £2.50, kids can sign up to the challenge which runs until

October. Each challenger will receive a beautiful card to fill with stickers, and a Monkey World pencil. There are a huge list of fun challenges and activities to complete at the park, and those who manage to complete five over the summer period will receive a certificate and be entered into a prize draw. With over 260 rescued and endangered monkeys and apes, three play areas, the kid’s activity centre open and the summer challenge, you’ll have a great day out at Monkey World this summer. See the website for the full list of challenge dates, and purchase the challenge at the adoption centre at the park. Monkey World is just minutes from the A31 near Wool, and is open every day (except Christmas Day) 10am to 5pm.
