On Thursday 31st January the Year 10 cohort of 2012 graduated into Year 11 with the symbolic Junior Graduation Ceremony in the F.W. Gamble Hall. This ceremony was attended by approximately 260 parents and the students that gained their diplomas with Merit or Excellence were recognized by crossing the school stage to receive their diploma. This is the second group of junior students to experience the two year Junior Graduation programme and it continues to go from strength to strength. Students are tracking their own academic achievement in each subject, identifying clear goals of what they hope to achieve and are also receiving academic counseling from subject teachers, form teachers and Deans. The feedback from the students has been of overwhelming support as they are enjoying the opportunity to strive for something that is tangible in the Junior School.
