Magnificat’s Performing Arts Department shone on stage during the spring season. Cast members of the fall musical, Mary Poppins, reprised their roles to perform at the Dazzle Awards in May. The company took home prizes for Best Musical, Best Ensemble/Chorus, and Best Choreography Execution. Congratulations! At the Spring Concert, the Magnifi-Pops instrumental ensemble, Concert Choir, Chorale, and Show Choir performed classic and contemporary Broadway songs, liturgical music, folk tunes, and more. The Spring Dance Concert featured 52 performers in the Varsity and Junior Varsity Dance Teams plus the Dance Training Company. The theme for the concert was Higher Love, and 65 dances were performed in a variety of musical genres and dance styles.
