Prof. Pritharshv Pushkar In the Product Graphics course we were to choose a product and use graphic elements to enhance its aesthetics, functionality and form keeping in mind our target audience. I had to keep in mind the limited cognitive abilities of a baby while developing concepts for the graphics. The bottle should engage the baby such that it becomes more of a toy n thus make it easier for the parent to ensure the baby drinks an adequate amount of milk everyday.

By understanding the elements of a natural object through its form, function, geometry and environment we developed a two dimensional motif that would best represent the natural object. The final form represents the bulge and the upward curve of an onion. These two aspects are retained as they best describe an onion.

Course: Technically Complex Product Faculty Guide: Prof. Dhimant Panchal Why SPEND a minimum of 4 litres of water to flush urine of 200- 350 ml? So, separate the way urine and excreta are treated right from our washrooms. Our bodily excretory systems do so too.The WC has two traps of different diameter, the thinner one for flushing away the urine with a few ml of water. To direct the urine to the smaller trap, a pee-seat is attached to the WC. Users should use the pee seat for excreting urine.

Most people don’t have access to a ironing board when they are travelling. Thus this iron has a curved soleplate which could be easily used on the bed. Since the bed is soft, it takes the shape of the curved soleplate while ironing. It just glides smoothly over the fabric making ironing more fun and easy. As most travel irons have a foldable handle, they are not very comfortable to use but this one is sleek and takes care of the comfort as well.

Course: Packaging Design. Faculty Guide: Prof. Paresh Choudhary & Asst.Prof. Pritharshv Pushkar Cakes & Cookies is a concept packaging that evolves from being much more than just a box. An end to end product - from the baker, to the consumer. The packaging serves as routine packaging, gift packaging and the sturdiness of the boxes also make it a storage and serving solution. This was a project in packaging design for a hypothetical customer, the famous Kayani Bakery of Pune. The design of the boxes is ably supported by my partner with graphics which reflect the ethnicity and heritage of Kayani Bakery.
