Science National Honor Society
The motto inscribed in Latin on the SNHS shield translates: “Fortunate is one who understands the causes of things.” It is vital to mankind that we encourage those with an interest in understanding “the causes of things” to help further our society. International Quill & Scroll Honor Society Quill and Scroll is the international honor society for high school Journalists. It was founded in 1926 at the University of Iowa by George H. Mu Alpha Theta
Mu Alpha Theta, the national high school and two-year college mathematics honor society, was formed in 1957 at the University of Oklahoma. We are dedicated to inspiring a keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two-year college students.
