Seiya was forced by another high school girl Isuzu, to go Japan’s most disappointing amusement park, Amagi Brilliant Park. Seiya then meets the leader of this amusement park, also known as the “real princess” Latifah. Latifah then asked Seiya to become the manager of this park, which is in danger of shutting down. Seiya accepts Latifah’s offer and realizes that Amagi Brilliant Park, isn’t your ordinary amusement park. Seiya Kanie

Kouki Uchiyama Seiya is a perfectionist high school student who excels great intelligence, excellent reflexes, and acts like a prince. Isuzu Sento

My thoughts on Amagi Brilliant Park Amagi Brilliant Park gives us an idea of what happens behind the scenes in amusements parks, were we used to or still are, visiting to have fun with friends and family. We are able to see what plans they have to bring more people in, and how the workers get their strengths from. With a large variety of characters, like fairies, cute bears, talking dolphins, screw drivers and a wrestler, will bring tonnes of smiling faces to all of us. Having that ‘amusement park’ theme happening through the characters, we can also see it in the visual aspect of the anime. The art style is colourful and bright, from the different design of the attractions, to the evening fireworks. Amagi Brilliant Park really shows the ‘magical’ feeling we get from places like Disney Land, into our TV screen. It will have you laughing, hoping for them to succeed, and cheering for their achievements.

Isuzu is the vice manager once Seiya accepted the request. She rarely shows any emotions, which her voice always sounds in monotone. She is mostly cold and blunt towards others. Latifa

Yukiyo Fujii Latifa is a cheerful, caring person who is very concerned about the future of Amagi Brilliant Park, and all the staff working.

Shirou Emiya Noriaki Sugimiya Shirou is a serious, hardworking and an honest teenager, who uses his magic to fix things in school. He believes that it is possible to save everyone without harming any innocents – he uses his ideal to win the Holy Grail War. Saber Ayako Kawasumi Saber is Shirou’s servant, who holds a powerful weapon, which the blades cannot be seen by anyone. She’s a powerful warrior who suppresses her emotions to focus on her goals. Rin Tohsaka

My thoughts on Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works performs exceptionally well in certain areas, but for the others, not so much. In terms of the visual, FSN is one the best art style I have ever seen in an anime. The visual of the characters, the settings and the special effects during the fight scenes are just pleasing to the eye. It made me keep praising the developers every time I watch a new episode; it feels like something I would pay to watch in the cinemas. The story and the characters can be quite confusing throughout the show. The story is like the ’hunger games’, where a bunch of contestants fight it out to get the prize, but where it doesn’t perform well is through the characters. Some of the characters, who are the participants of this war, only appear in certain episodes. This makes it hard to connect with the characters’ when something tragic happens. Another unappealing thing in FSN is seen through the dialogue. While every fight scenes in the anime is amazing, the dialogue parts can feel very boring, especially how the characters uses complicated vocabulary, which I can understand since the servants are a representation of famous historical people. In the end Fate/ Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Work’s visual is enough for you to continue watching, even if the story and the characters isn’t that up to notch.

Kana Ueda Rin is a popular student in high school, who is fiercely competitive. She also excels in mage craft due to her father’s teachings, and tries to be one of the best mages out there. Archer

Junichi Suwabe Archer is Rin’s servant, who’s both skilled in range and melee combat. He can be seen as sarcastic and sceptical, but has also a dark past.

“Monthly Girls Nozaki-Kun is one of—if not the—funniest series of this past anime season” – Kotaku

“It’s smart, it’s funny, it can be heartwarming on occasion, and most importantly it’s subversive” – LostinAmerica

This romance, comedy anime starts when a high school girl Sakura confesses to her crush Nozaki, but Nozaki thought she was a fan and wanted an autograph of him. Sakura then realizes that Nozaki is a famous Shoujo (Romance/Comedy) Manga (Comic) Artist. She then helps him with his work every day, so she can try for him to like her too. The anime Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun was adapted from the manga (by the same name) which released in August 2011, and it is written by Izumi Tsubaki. Since then the manga has a total of 6 volumes, and have sold nearly 1 million copies in Japan. The series also placed number 3, on the top 15 manga recommended by bookstores in 2013, and it also ranked number 11 in the top 20 manga for female readers in 2014.

Nozaki

Yuuichi Nakamura Nozaki is a secret Shoujo Manga Artist who created the popular series “Let’s Love”. Although he writes love stories, he actually has never fall in love before. Sakura

Ari Ozawa

My thoughts on Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun is a fun loving show, filled with comedy and romance. The anime can give the audience an insight into how mangas (comics) are created. From getting ideas such as the storylines and the characters, to how they draw each character in the book. The anime is also filled with variety types of characters that feel like the writer combined different personalities from rom-com animes into one show. It has characters like a beautiful female student which has a large fan base among other female students, a tomboyish girl who has an angelic voice, and a playboy guy who is actually quite shy. These characters are what make the show so enjoyable and unique from other animes. In terms of the story, it doesn’t quite develop as much towards the end of the show, like the 2 main protagonists still doesn’t have that ‘romantic’ relationship, but we do see their friendship improving. In conclusion Gekkan shoujo Nozaki-Kun is really targeted to people who loves rom-com series, but have a very slow development in the romance section. I had quite a lot of laughs from it, and I’m hoping to get to know more about these amusing characters.

Sakura is a petite girl whose confessions to Nozaki turned her into one of his assistants, even though it’s not what she wanted, she still happy to be with him. Mikoshiba

Nobuhiko Okamoto Mikoshiba is one of Nozaki’s assistants who is in charge of drawing special effects, accessories and flowers. Mikoshiba acts and looks like a playboy, but he is actually quite shy.

Raku Ichijou is your average high school student, who happens to the head of a Yakuza (Mafia) Family. Ten years ago, Raku made a promise to a girl he met, were they will get married when they reunite with each other. The girl gave Raku a pendant with a lock on it, to symbolize their secret promise, which the girl holds the key to unlock it. Then one day he finds himself pretending to be lovers with a beautiful blonde girl name Chitoge Kirisaki, who also happens to be the head of a Yakuza family. They both were to put together by their parents, to symbolise the Yakuza’s bond. Even though Raku has interest towards his classmate Kosaki Onodera, he still tries to get along with Chitoge, for both of their family’s sake. The anime Nisekoi is from the Manga (Japanese Comic) written and illustrated by Naoshi Komi. The manga has gradually increasing its sales, which sold 1 542 417 copies in 2013, which it was 30th most sold manga in that year. In 2014 it ranked number 16, which sold 3 816 372 copies, more than twice the sales of 2013.

Raku Ichijou

Kouki Uchiyama Raku Ichijou is an intelligent person but not a skilled fighter who wants to live as a normal person, even though he is the son of Yakuza family. Chitoge Kirasaki Nao Touyama

My thoughts on Nisekoi Nisekoi has that typical love story, where it has the childhood promise, being fake lovers and the misunderstandings between the characters. However, these cliché parts in the anime are still very enjoyable to watch. We got Chitoge and Onodera, who are the opposite of each other’s personality, somehow got tangled into Raku’s life. Throughout the anime we get to see Chitoge tries her best to get along with Raku, to conceal their true relationship. And we got Onodera slowly find her confidence to confess her true feelings to Raku. My only disappointment in Nisekoi is how the addition of new characters, removes the depth in the anime, and placed more cliché comedy stuff, which I did not want to see more. In conclusion, Nisekoi is your cliché romance show, from the story and to the characters, which I found quite enjoyable to watch.

Chitoge Kirisaki is a very smart person, who can also speak fluently in both English and Japanese. She is very athletic and aggressive, but can also be sweet and friendly. Kosaki Onodera

Kana Hanazawa Onodera Kosaki is a kind, innocent, and slightly timid person, when it comes to Raku Ichijou, who she secretly likes. She thinks many possibilities carefully before she tries to act, like confessing to Raku.
