The Lakewood Garden Club is proud to offer three $750 scholarships to graduating high school seniors. Students applying should have an interest in studying any life or physical science. Those with a demonstrated interest in gardening or the environment should also include that information. The scholarships are open to all students living in Lee’s Summit, including Lakewood students attending Blue Springs High School or any private institution. Interested students can pick up an application at their respective high schools or from Nancy Sykes at the LPOA Administrative Office.
