Amendment to SKUD 18 Class Rules - June 2011 The July 2011 SKUD 18 Class Rules are amended as follows: Amendment to C.8.1(b) & (c) C.8.1

The hull appendages may be sanded and polished, except that the shape or weight distribution as originally supplied shall not be altered. Repairs and adjustments to keels in order to comply with C.8.3(a) are permitted with the written authorisation of the Class Technical Officer. (c) Keels (including centreboard & bulb) manufactured between 2006 and 2008 which do not comply with C.8.3(a) (3) & (4) as supplied are permitted with the written authorisation of the Class Technical Officer. (d) Aluminium rudder foils may be coated to prevent corrosion.

Maximum weight of SKUD 18.2 keel and bulb is 163kg. Note: The target weight for a SKUD 18.2 keel and bulb is 160kg. 160kg will be the Maximum weight from January 1, 2013.

Please Note: Owners are advised that application to modify a SKUD 18 Keel or Bulb should be made via an Additional Equipment Application that can be downloaded from www.skud.org. Amendment to F.2.1(b) F.2.1(b)

Wire is allowed for the main halyard for use with a halyard lock. No other wire is allowed.
