Through our assigned roll at MAF as a Property and asset management , Retail Design Management | with the Development Department MAJID AL FUTTAIM PROPERTIES LLC our responsibilities was To ensure that all shops/units are fully operational by the established opening date Focus is on the management of the merchant relationship and ensuring internal construction and design teams are fully aware of the lease forms and conditions and requirements by the tenant to ensure business drive solutions, on-site store delivery, and minimization of downtime in the income stream as a result of programmed openings The RDM process is achieved through both customer focus and the ongoing relationship with retailers, their contractors, builders and or shop fitters. To this, must be multidiscipline in Retail knowledge, project management and construction management To ensure fit-out is built to final approved drawings as approved To ensure that the stores are executed with world class retail design standards adhering to the set design criteria relative to the Briefing Kit MALL OF EGYPT , MADDI CITY CENTER , ALEX and Almaza City Center


Our Scope Of Work • Managing the Tenant Fit Out Management Process creating Fit Out Manuals & Retail Design Criteria. • Architecture Design Review in Royal Park Mall, Grand Egyptian Museum Retail Complex, SKY Mall, Stone Street Royaa Group, Madinaty Open Air Mall. • Develop retail design management Tenant Fit Out Management Process • Report status in shopping malls Retail Design and delivery meetings on each project and asset •Track activities to insure tenancy is handed over to lessee by deadline • Coordinate and obtain final lease plan for retail design and delivery • Ensure business driven retail design solutions, onsite store delivery, and minimization of downtime in the income stream as a result of programmed openings • Track design deliver and provide status report to key stakeholders • Keep abreast of current retail technology trends in addition to MEP, Health and Safety measures Detail lessor and merchant requirements and lease terms and conditions •Develop marketing and short term retail criteria, composite plan and program •Develop strategy with leasing for shop renovations within mall asset •Develop designs of retail stores ,precinct, kiosks •Initiate contact and meet with retailers and their design team to discuss the company design criteria and clarify the retail delivery processes(new shop openings an existing stores upgrades) •Collaborate with retailer's design team to achieve compliance with company design standards •Review concept design and detail drawings and ensure compliance to company design criteria are met(in a timely manner) •Tenancy delivery process onsite follow up and ensure compliance execution as per the final approved design •Onsite problem solving of design as per site conditions •Preparing snag list and tracking tools to ensure opening on time with high and world class retail standards •Survey process and procedures and results from time to time •Participate in meetings to discuss design and delivery issues and status

Located amongst one of the strongest development locations in Cairo, on the north eastern quadrant of the junction between the Cairo-Suez Road and Nasr Road in Heliopolis, the mall offers easy accessibility in an affluent primary catchment area. City Centre Almaza will re-define the shopping landscape in Egypt to become the go-to shopping mall for residents in Helipolis.

Beirut City Center

• City Centre Beirut is the first project for Majid Al Futtaim Properties in the Levant region that delivers a new retail and entertainment concept to the country featuring many “firsts”. Over 40 of the 200 stores in the mall are new brands – never seen before in Lebanon: such as; Carrefour, VOX Cinemas, Magic Planet, and 40 food and beverage outlets including 3 flagship brands from North America. The Centre is ideally located in the Hazmieh district next to the Damascus Highway. City Centre Beirut, will become is the destination for both residents and tourists alike and serves the central and eastern areas of Beirut as it is easily accessed by way of a dedicated bridge and over 1,800 car park spaces. This exciting destination is over 650,000 square feet and stretches across 3 levels and an open air rooftop restaurant precinct.


Mirdif City center

• City Centre Mirdif offers easy access with 3 dedicated bridges and 12 entry and exit points at different levels of its 7,000 vehicle car parks. The shopping mall is the first in the region to follow ecologically friendly and sustainability compliant construction techniques from its early design stages and is in the process of acquiring a LEED certification. • With a gross leasable area extending to 196,000 square meters, City Centre Mirdif will feature world class stores with 200 new and unique to the Northern Emirates. Key anchor stores include Carrefour, VOX Cinemas, Playnation, Debenhams, Emax, Centrepoint, Home Centre and Fitness First.


Mall of the emirates extension • The multi-level shopping mall currently features more than 630 retail outlets, 7900 parking spaces, over 100 restaurants and cafÊs, 80 luxury stores and 250 flagship stores. It has a total gross leasable area of 255,489 square meters. It also hosts family leisure activities including Ski Dubai (the Middle East's first indoor ski resort and snow park), the 500-seat capacity Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre and Magic planet, one of the largest indoor family entertainment centers in Dubai.

ROYAL PARK MALL • May 2019 – Present • Project description • Royal Park is an open air mall. It is located inside Royal City compound. The mall is uniquely located on Mehwar 26 July on the borders of Royal City residential compound in 6th of October city, 15 minutes from Mohandessin. It is surrounded by top notch residential compounds, international schools and universities. The mall offers many services like shopping, restaurants, hyper market, kids area, many themed parks, outdoor arena for skate boarding and an amusement park.


GRAND EGYPTIAN MUSEUM

Project description

• The Grand Egyptian Museum holds in trust for Egypt and the World a chronological statement for the ancient history of Egypt over the past 7000 years. Neighboring a timeless wonder, the Giza Pyramids, the new museum is to pay homage to eternal Ancient Egyptian monuments, treasures, and history hosting over 100,000 artifacts, about 3500 of which belong to the famous King Tutankhamen. The design for the Grand Egyptian Museum was reached as a result of an international architectural competition initiated by the Ministry of Culture on January 7th, 2002. The competition was under the patronage of the UNESCO and supervised by the UIA. The museum complex aims to furnish all its visitors with a uniquely enjoyable, educational, and cultural experience. The Grand Egyptian Museum will allow Egypt to become a major worldwide hub for Pharonic history and a must-visit place for Egyptologists. The museum aims at taking grasp of the diversity of Egypt's heritage of monuments and arts needed to be shown in one place in one location to maintain and preserve this huge legacy. The site chosen for the GEM is only 2km from the legendary Pyramids. Nested between the ancient Great Pyramids and the modern city of Cairo, at the junction between dry desert and the fertile floodplain, the Grand Museum is a portal to the past. The Giza plateau Memphis and its Necropolis nominated by UNESCO among the world Cultural Heritage Sites, contains irreplaceable monuments from across time. The museum complex will be built on a plot of land approximately 117 feddans, about 480,000 square meters. With its unique position on the cusp between the past and the present, the Grand Egyptian Museum will lie at the repository for ancient artifacts that creates an interactive experience for the visitor; it will build a bridge between the past and the future.
