There once was a girl, who lived in a modern world. Day in and day out, she’d labor away and face no excitement, making her existence simply mundane. Finally, one day, she decided to take back her own life. She woke up in style and traded a man for a stuffed unicorn. She frolicked around in the sheets, intoxicated with the possibilities that the day ahead presented.

She looked at breakfast as an experience, and traded in oatmeal for cupcakes and OJ for champagne. This was her day, and she was determined to have it all. Out of bed and into the bath, she washed off a monotonous existence and planned her spiral into a world of fun. She lathered up, ready to live it up for once. The day was off to a luscious start.

From bubbles to shopping carts, every errand was a chance for a new adventure. At the grocery store, she spun around in carts, drenched herself in Cheerios and made shopping more than an errand. The aisles blurred together and what was once a grocery store became a spot where daring and diversion could thrive.

Naturally, all of the shopping made her hungry. So she said screw a salad and went for a cheese burger. Cigarettes became French fries and water became milk shakes, and lunch was turned upside

dreams reigned supreme in every bite.

Errands aside, it was time to shake things up, or rather, skate things up. She burst onto the scene for the night at a roller rink, ready to twirl around under the neon lights. She hit the arcade after, clearly winning every prize, as today was her day. Champagne in tow, she headed stumbled into an empty parking lot, celebrating her newly found freedom. She had successfully cut loose from societies expectations of her, and began to live a life that represented an authentic version of her.
