L’artista canadese Gisele Boisvert è sempre stata affascinata fin dall’infanzia dall’arte e dal disegno, che però ha riscoperto solo da adulta grazie a molti viaggi e ad innumerevoli visite nei musei. La pittura è diventata così per lei uno strumento che la riporta all’infanzia e le permette di esplorare tutto ciò che la circonda, attraverso diverse forme che fanno riferimento sia alla figurazione che all’astrazione. Dopo un iniziale approccio tradizionale alla pittura, Gisele è stata attratta dai media misti e ha iniziato a sperimentare con inchiostri, acrilico, tecnica ad encausto, pastello e pittura a vetro colorato. Gisele cerca sempre nuovi approcci e nuove tecniche per realizzare le sue opere, perché in continua ricerca di strumenti che possano risvegliare la forma, il colore e la luce. Le sue composizioni infatti esplodono di colori e sono piene di luminosità e fluidità. I suoi dipinti sono un modo per liberare i suoi gesti e le sue emozioni, quindi sono molto dinamici, ma alla base c’è sempre e comunque armonia ed equilibrio. Le sue opere risultano ben organizzate secondo luci ed ombre, questo perché per Gisele rappresentano gli alti e i bassi dei vari periodi delle nostre vite. La sua ispirazione più grande è la natura e la simbiosi che si crea con essa. La sua pittura risulta quindi molto intuitiva, ma anche spirituale, creando un mondo simbolico di mistero e movimento.
The Canadian artist Gisele Boisvert has always been fascinated since childhood by art and design, which however she has only rediscovered as an adult thanks to many trips and countless museum visits. For her, painting has become an instrument that brings her back to childhood and allows her to explore everything that surrounds her, through different forms that refer to both figuration and abstraction. After an initial traditional approach to painting, Gisele was attracted to mixed media and started experimenting with inks, acrylic, encaustic technique, pastel and colored glass painting. Gisele always looks for new approaches and new techniques to realize her works, because she is constantly looking for instruments that can awaken form, color and light. Her compositions explode in color and are full of brightness and fluidity. Her paintings are a way to free his gestures and his emotions, so they are very dynamic, but at the base there is always harmony and balance. Her works are well organized according to light and shadow, this because for Gisele they represent the highs and lows of the various periods of our lives. Her greatest inspiration is the nature and the symbiosis that is created with it. Her painting is therefore very intuitive, but also spiritual, creating a symbolic world of mystery and movement.
Force de vie
Uno dei dipinti che meglio rappresenta questo suo modo di vedere la realtà che poi trasporta sulle tele è “Force de vie”. Come affermava Jim Morrison “ogni forma d’arte è essenzialmente energia intercettata” e qui Gisele ci mostra tutta la sua energia e la sua forza vitale appunto nella sua arte. Colori accesi esplodono sulla tela, si muovono, si toccano, si inseguono. Emozioni affini e contrastanti convivono, mostrano i mille volti della vita. Colori chiari e accesi si esprimono accanto a colori più cupi e tristi, ma sempre in un vortice di emozioni quale è la vita e la forza che la guida. One of the paintings that best represents this way of seeing the reality that then carries on canvas is "Force de vie". As Jim Morrison stated "every form of art is essentially intercepted energy" and here Gisele shows us all her energy and vital force in her art. Bright colors explode on the canvas, move, touch, chase. Similar and contrasting emotions coexist, show the thousand faces of life. Light and bright colors are expressed alongside darker and gloomy colors, but always in a whirlwind of emotions which is the life and the driving force.
Con quest’opera, che si intitola “Cerveau en ebullition”, Gisele ci mostra l’interno della mente di ognuno di noi. Ansie, preoccupazioni, gioie, dolori, mille impegni, mille cose a cui pensare: ogni persona ha questo dentro la propria testa. Gisele è riuscita a rappresentarlo con linee, forme e colori. Con l’utilizzo di tecniche diverse, Gisele riesce a rendere perfettamente l’idea delle diverse realtà presenti nella nostra mente e quindi sulla tela. Tutto è in movimento, tutto si fonde, si accavalla, sfuma per poi svanire o fa un giro immenso per poi ritornare.
Cerveau en ebullition
With this work, which is called "Cerveau en ebullition", Gisele shows us the inside of the mind of each of us. Anxieties, worries, joys, sorrows, a thousand commitments, a thousand things to think about: every person has this inside his head. Gisele was able to represent it with lines, shapes and colors. With the use of different techniques, Gisele succeeds in perfectly rendering the idea of the different realities present in our mind and therefore on the canvas. Everything is in motion, everything blends, ioverlaps, fades and then fades or takes a huge turn and then returns.
