Our flagship auction celebrates the best in Scottish art from the 18th to the 20th centuries. A special Joan Eardley collection showcases an early Arran work, pastels from a rediscovered Glasgow sketchbook, and a significant Catterline oil produced in her final years. The Scottish Colourists are represented by innovative works by F. C. B. Cadell, S. J. Peploe and G. L. Hunter, alongside several exceptional West Coast paintings by David Forrester Wilson, Maurice Greiffenhagen, and Glasgow Boys Edward Atkinson Hornel, George Henry and Joseph Crawhall.
Further highlights include works by Samuel Bough, Robert Gemmell Hutchinson, Alberto Morrocco, and John Ritchie. Several vibrant landscapes by John Maclauchlan Milne and Anne Redpath transport us from the artists’ native Scotland to the Mediterranean.
