Inver is a co-owner of the AFSC fuel terminal in Foynes, Limerick. It is a state of the art terminal with a capacity of 82,000,000 million litres. The AFSC terminal is the largest and most advanced terminal in Ireland and supports Inver as a major national oil supplier in Ireland. Our ability to import fuel and sell it directly to our customers allows us to be very competitive in our prices. Economies of scale and low overheads enable us to keep our products cost low and offer better prices to our customers. We offer our customers a variety of pricing options included fixed price and our risk management team are always available to help customers develop bespoke pricing options. This ability to provide customers with supply, delivery and pricing options and flexibility continues to be appreciated by existing customers and attractive to new customers.
As a direct fuel importer another advantage we offer our customers is guaranteed fuel quality traceable from the refinery to our customer’s tanks. Quality traceable fuel is an integral part of our company ethos and the Inver advantage programme, our dedicated fleet of road tankers also ensures fuel quality and on-time delivery.’ Inver entered into the forecourt market in 2012 and have continued to build partnerships with forecourt partners and open companyowned forecourts. Inver’s first company owned forecourt opened in Punches Cross, Limerick in December 2015 and the company’s flagship forecourt in Hurlers Cross, Limerick is due to open shortly. Rory pointed out they will continue to partner with existing forecourt owners and to build Inver owned forecourts to grow the network significantly again this year. Inver launched their Inver Fuel Card in March, Rory said ‘It’s exciting to offer commercial businesses the opportunity to avail of Inver’s competitive pricing through our fuel cards.
