Eamon Reilly, Davy Tallon, Kieran Sheridan and Paddy Arnold were enough for St Vincent's on this occasion when a crossbar denied them a goal. Next up for St Vincent's was Dunderry's second string side which resulted in a positive outcome for the Dublin-border outfit, victory on a 3-6 to 0-7 scoreline. The third round of fixtures pitted St Vincent's against another east county side, St Colmcille's. A second win from three championship starts was registered on a 3-9 to 0-10 scoreline. When it came to the penultimate

round of group games, St Vincent's were idle. In the final round before the business end of the campaign, St Vincent's posted a triple scores, 2-12 to 0-6, win over Ratoath at Ashbourne. St Vincent's bounced back from the concession of three early points to lead by 1-5 to 0-3 at the break. Goalkeeper Cathal Tallon played his part by saving well from county minor Eamonn Wallace. Maurice Carberry netted the opening goal and boosted St Vincent's to a 1-5 to 0-3 interval lead.

The wearers of maroon and white kicked-on from the restart outscoring their opponents by 1-7 to 0-3 in the second-half with top scorer Tommy Field netting their second goal. That aforementioned win over Dunderry allowed St Vincent's top the table having registered three wins and one defeat in the initial stages of the championship. The reward was a quarter-final joust with the 2011 JFC C winners Moynalvey, who finished third in Group A behind eventual finalists Dunshaughlin and St Mary's. The sides shared 16 scores but
